Living most of her adulthood in Vancouver BC, Cindy Fair has travelled through many parts of Central and South America; where she discovered her passion for its culture, traditions and family values. Her inspiration is channeled mostly through the recognition of Dia de Muertos – Mexico’s day of the dead. Although this cultural event appears to be based on death; it is in her opinion, more about the celebration of life and the mark we leave behind. Did we fully embrace and live the life we loved? Did we find and bring joy to others? Those are the most profound thoughts while working on her skulls – each one seems to take on a personality of their own as they evolve into their final masterpiece.

Each art piece has a message, each persuades a moment of reflection.
